What was your WOW learning (academic) moment? (WOW moments are amazing! Spectacular! Learning your student had today)
What was your hardest/most challenging learning (academic) moment today? Why?
What was the hardest thing to learn today? Why?
What was your BOW academic moment? (BOW moments are difficult, extremely challenging learning your student had)
Ask about their social day at school:
What was your best social moment at school today? Why?
What was the best thing socially you did today?
What was your WOW social moment? (WOW moment are amazing, spectacular social experiences your student had today)
What was your hardest/most challenging social moment today? Why?
What was the hardest social thing today? Why?
What was your BOW social moment? (BOW moments are difficult, extremely challenging social experiences your student had today)
Have consistent routines: Study time, Bed Time, Family Time (games, reading - without the use of electronic devices), Wake-Up Time
Set personal and family goals/Individual goals! Examples include:
We will read together for 10 to 15 minutes each day (or even 3 times a week!).
We will truly listen to each other when someone is struggling.
We will clean the house/apartment as a family (This is a great physical, team-based activity -- turn on the music)!
