Whether there are difficult times at work or at home, we want to ensure you have the resources and assistance you need.


Classified, Administrators, Specialists, and Confidential/Supervisory employees have access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through RBH. Services are confidential and available to you, any household member and any dependent whether they live at home or not. Some of the services included are:

  • Free 3 face-to-face counseling visits for each new issue you face
  • Free resources for childcare services and adult and eldercare services
  • Free 30 minute legal counseling. Discounted services after 30 minutes
  • Free Will preparation
  • Free personal mediation services
  • Free financial consultations regarding budgeting, debt counseling, etc. Discount available if CPA is retained.
  • Home buyer's program
  • 24 hour crisis help

These services are offered either for free or at reduced fees as indicated.

The Licensed Employee Assistance Program, paid for by the District, is strictly confidential and all Central School District 13J employees and their household members may utilize its services. Services include but are not limited to:

  • Telephone consultations
  • Educational materials
  • Stress management
  • Career development
  • Legal consultation with licensed attorneys
  • Childcare and/or eldercare referrals
